The Challenge

Berkeley Research Group is a leading expert-consulting firm with a global presence. Under the guidance of Asia Pacific Leader of Global Investigations & Strategic Intelligence, their business has invested heavily in attracting some of the industry’s leading figures to their consulting platforms across APAC. Lawson Chase has been tasked with an ongoing search mandate (our ‘Talent Watch’ solution) to identify credible individuals in the market who can make a material-impact to their business growth plans across all Asia offices.

The Solution

Lawson Chase proactively introduced the resume of a Hong Kong based Managing Director who had amassed an outstanding reputation within the Financial Investigations & Regulatory Compliance markets in Asia. This individual had led highly successful consultancy teams within competitor platforms and had a significant client following, having spent over 25 years specialising in advisory services within the APAC region. We worked with Berkeley Research Group to identify where this individual could fit within their organisation and over the course of several months, they carved out the role of Head of Financial Investigations & Regulatory Compliance.
