Head of Human Resources for Am Law firm

Proskauer is an Am Law firm, headquartered in New York and with an international footprint. Lawson Chase was tasked with a key mandate – the firm’s Director/Head of Human Resources, to be based in HQ in the heart of New York.

Our mandate was to deliver a shortlist of HR Leaders with a proven track-record in Human Resources, expertise in employee relations and experience in delivering programmes of change and organisational transformation within a Professional Services firm. 

We identified a shortlist of NY based HR leaders, all of whom had prior experience operating in a leadership capacity within private practice law firms. The chosen candidate had excellent credentials, was a qualified attorney herself and had deep expertise within employee relations and organisational change. The search mandate was successfully delivered in less than 60 days.

Our work with Proskauer has extended to several other mandates across business services, including an Associate Director for Learning & Development, a Knowledge Lawyer, multiple Conflicts Attorneys and further roles within the HR & Recruiting function – a testament to our commitment to building long term and non-transactional relationships with our clients.
