We were exclusively hired by Schillings during a period of rapid expansion of their consulting business to secure a Head of Intelligence & Investigations in London.

The Challenge

Schillings & Partners is a cutting-edge law firm and management consulting business that was one of the pioneers of the hybrid legal and consulting business model. They specialise in reputation, crisis and risk management and have a heavily private clients/high net worth individuals client base.

During a period of rapid expansion within their intelligence and investigations practice, Lawson Chase were appointed to assess the UK market for a Head of Intelligence & Investigations. Given Schillings & Partners discerning clientele, there was a clear requirement to source a senior individual who had both the technical expertise as well as the soft skills needed to excel in a high-pressure environment.

The Solution

Our researchers mapped the leadership teams within London’s intelligence and investigations consulting sector. We made active approaches to a portfolio of individuals who had been highly recommended for their track record in commanding sensitive investigations & intelligence projects and who had the necessary gravitas and polish to interface with a distinguished client base.

From an initial shortlist of eight leaders, we managed an interview process that cumulated with two candidate finalists.
