Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for leading FinTech

When FinTech group Linedata were seeking a Regional CFO for their Asset Management business, they hired us to cherry pick a leader from the London market.

The Challenge

Linedata is a FinTech business that provides technology solutions, largely to the investment management & asset management sectors. They approached Lawson Chase with a mandate to appoint a Regional Chief Financial Officer to be based in London. The business were clear that they wanted to hire someone who had a good track record within the FinTech world, who had gravitas, leadership qualities and who would collaborate well with their senior team in Paris.

The Solution

Lawson Chase conducted a London-wide intelligence and mapping exercise for Linedata, drawing a longlist of CFOs who had the requisite FinTech and Asset Management experience. Through a vigorous pre-screening process, we narrowed this initial selection to a shortlist of our three top-picks for the appointment.

Working with the leadership group in Paris, we co-ordinated interviews including in person meetings in France and Linedata’s preferred candidate was successfully appointed.
