      Analyst

      London, UK

      Negotiable

      Permanent

      Overview

      A global intelligence, cyber, and investigations firm is seeking an Analyst to join its London team.

      The firm is seeking sharp, curious, and driven individuals to join its growing Strategic Intelligence team. As an Analyst, you’ll work with some of the world’s leading private equity firms, Magic Circle law firms, and largest global companies.

      You’ll play a key role in supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle – from researching complex commercial issues and shaping intelligence-gathering strategies, to analysing findings and delivering nuanced insights to clients. If you enjoy solving problems, thinking critically, and distilling meaningful insights from background noise, we’d love to hear from you.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Conduct qualitative research to support complex due diligence and strategic intelligence projects for clients making high-value investment decisions;
      • Analyse public domain sources to assess regulatory and commercial risks, and to build a well-rounded understanding of acquisition targets, counterparties, and the markets in which they operate.
      • Contribute to the development of intelligence-gathering strategies;
      • Engage with a network of external contacts to gather and verify critical information for live mandates;
      • Turn complex findings into clear, concise analysis and draft client reports that directly inform decision-making at the highest levels.

      Skills, Knowledge & Experience

      The firm is looking for individuals who combine intellectual rigour with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in investigative work. The ideal candidate will have:

      • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively;
      • Strong analytical judgement, with the ability to identify important information and assess its relevance and reliability;
      • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines;
      • A sharp investigative mindset and an enthusiasm for deep research and analysis;
      • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively and engage with external contacts;
      • Impeccable attention to detail;
      • Fluency in English (Fluency in an additional language – preferably Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, Arabic, or Japanese – is an advantage.)

      Additional Information & Benefits

      • Salary: competitive, based on experience
      • Flexible working balance of home and office
      • Stakeholder pension contribution of 5%
      • Family friendly company – including enhanced maternity and paternity pay
      • Private medical insurance including generous terms of cover for both medical hospital, dental and mental health support for you, your partner and children (subject to T&Cs of the policy).
      • Life insurance – 4 x annual salary
      • 25 days holidays per year in addition to bank holidays
      • Cycle to work scheme
