      Overview

A top hedge fund is seeking an experienced campus specialist to join its Human Capital team and help drive the firm’s end-to-end campus engagement strategy. This specialist will serve as the main point of contact to university career centers, faculty, and student organizations, representing the firm externally with professionalism and a deep understanding of culture and opportunities. This position offers the chance to work collaboratively across teams and play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s presence and brand on campus in a dynamic, engaging, and innovative environment.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Develop and drive the firm’s school strategy, identifying core and emerging schools, setting engagement objectives, and shaping the annual campus calendar to maximize impact.
      • Build and strengthen external relationships, serving as the primary contact for university partners and student organizations.
      • Design and execute on-campus events—such as information sessions and networking dinners—in partnership with recruiters, collaborating on purposeful engagement, post-event follow-up, and candidate conversions.
      • Partner with other teams to align messaging across all campus and firm-led events, oversee the creation and distribution of marketing materials, and maintain brand consistency.
      • Optimize engagement efforts through data on attendance, hiring, and brand perception, using insights to refine strategies and amplify impact.

      Skills, Knowledge & Experience

      • A bachelor’s degree in any field of study and at least six years of experience in campus recruiting, university relations, or early-talent marketing is required.
      • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior university partners.
      • Demonstrated project management and organizational abilities, including experience managing multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
      • A strategic thinker who is comfortable executing detailed tasks and adapting to changing needs.
      • The ability to travel for approximately ten trips per year and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The expected annual base salary for this position is $130,000 to $170,000. Compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
