      Execution Quantitative Researcher sought on behalf of a global liquidity provider, based in the firm’s New York office.

      As an Execution Quantitative Researcher, you will develop tools and analytics to improve trading of quantitative strategies. Researchers explore vast amounts of market data, applying novel machine-learning algorithms and statistical approaches to discover and capitalize on market opportunities. Execution is an integral part of capturing these anomalies.

      Skills, Knowledge & Experience

      • Earned or will earn a Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as Math or Statistics
      • Ability to generate impactful research in academic or professional pursuits
      • Experience studying market impact and developing pre and post trade cost analytics
      • Manage full life-cycle of execution strategies using advanced statistical techniques
      • Demonstrate deep knowledge of time-series analysis
      • Advanced understanding of a high-level language for numerical analysis, Python (numpy/scipy stack) preferred
      • Exposure to C++ or related compiled language
      • Interest and enthusiasm for learning about financial markets
